Providing competitive and professional industrial photographer services to GeorgFischer, capturing dynamic industrial photography and video across their plants in China.

I have worked with GeorgFischer on a number of assignments producing industrial photography and video across a good number of their plants and offices across China Mainland.

Production was in partnership with Fotogloria in Germany. The goal was to provide photography and video services for their online marketing, internal communication, and annual reports.

The video below is a testament to our expertise in industrial photography and video creation for Georg Fischer (GF). I was thrilled to be invited to celebrate this particular customer story and make this video for GF casting solutions which produces several parts for the new Volvo car series.

In the video, I filmed in 2 locations, the GF casting plant in Suzhou and the Volvo Car HQ in Shanghai, China. Keeping the team small was key for this production to minimise our impact on the production floor and Volvo offices.

With a small three-man crew, we managed to cover sound for the video interview recordings, filming interviews with two cameras and drone aerial images to make a strong video customer story.

Working with the various GF teams, whether on the plant floor or in the offices, I aimed to complete these corporate photography assignments to reflect the team work, cooperation and energy I found.

In capturing these portraits I was brought in to work with a wide diversity of personalities and people. Some career roles, for example, can be very focused on their craft and shy or awkward when they have a camera in front of them. But I see this as part of my work and my responsibility to work with the teams and bring out the best in people.

It is always a pleasure to have a client who supports and enjoys having beautiful crisp industrial architectural photography of their plant, offices or installations. And GF is definitely one of those. In shooting these assignments I had the opportunity to showcase the wide, medium and close-up details of their work and environment.

I was asked not only to showcase their installation and illustrate how large these can be, but also to underline the effort they put into green energy.

To show these spaces as dynamic, I’ve also used a number of the staff to act as blurry inserts in these images. It helps to showcase these industrial spaces as they are: active, fast-paced and professional.
