As a part of a video production team, we love nothing more than helping our clients bring their brand to life; and exactly what we did when we teamed up with The Silk Initiative to work on the Silver Fern Farms project to create their brand identity video!

Our goal was to create a video to truly capture the essence of Silver Fern Farms’ brand. We wanted to showcase their commitment to quality, their passion for sustainability, and their deep connection to the land.

To achieve this, we started by getting to know the Silver Fern Farms team inside and out. We wanted to understand their values, their mission, and their unique approach to farming and agriculture.

Westin Branding Video

Westin Hotels & Resorts

Lifestyle branding video to showcase a healthy lifestyle and work-life balance for Westin Hotels & Resort guests.

I enjoyed working with Westin Hotels & Resorts to create a video about their commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle. As a brand-approved photographer, I was thrilled to partner with a client who values wellness as much as I do.

The video showcases Westin’s dedication to helping guests live their best lives through various wellness offerings. From state-of-the-art fitness centres to healthy dining options, Westin goes above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle while traveling.

Westin’s attention to detail impressed me. Every aspect of the guest experience is designed to promote wellness, from the comfortable Heavenly Beds to the signature White Tea Bath & Body products. Even the lighting in the hotel rooms is carefully calibrated to support circadian rhythms and improve sleep quality.

We wanted to create a video to not only highlight Westin’s commitment to wellness but also capture the essence of the brand. It was important to showcase our models having an active lifestyle, not only within the walls of the property but outside and around the city.

Overall, I’m incredibly proud of the final product and honoured to have worked with such an inspiring brand. Westin’s dedication to promoting a healthy lifestyle is truly admirable, and I hope this video inspires viewers to prioritise their health, both travelling and at home.

The Loop Swimwear

Loop Swim

Lifestyle fashion video production to showcase the Loop Swim collection.

When it comes to the filming of the Loop Swim wear video, there’s so much to tell! It was an incredible experience with a talented team of creatives, and I’m excited to share the story with you.

The first step was to scout for the perfect location… and it’s not often I get to fly my team to Thailand! I wanted to find a place to capture the essence of the Loop Swim brand (made with recycled plastic) but also offer multiple shooting scenarios. After much research and exploration, we settled on Phuket.

Along with the client, we selected shooting locations of a villa, a hotel, a beach and a catamaran. For our star, through their network, The Loop reached out to an Instagram influencer and Olympic swimmer they had worked with before. Dream location and dream team; ready.

The models were incredible, bringing their unique personalities to the shoot and creating a fun and energetic vibe on set. We captured shots of them lounging on the beach, swimming in the crystal-clear water, and walking along the shoreline.

Overall, the filming process for the Loop Swim video was an amazing project. We were able to capture stunning footage, create a fun and energetic atmosphere on set, and team up with talented creatives. I’m thrilled with the final product.

JEEZZO Gel Pen Refills Product Video

JEEZZO

Professional promotional commercial video made for JEEZZO gel pen refill capsules.

With the opportunity to create a commercial spot video for Jeezzo gel pen refills, I decided to take a slightly different approach. Instead of featuring people, I focused solely on the product itself. This allowed me to be a lot more flexible and match the budget needs of the client.

The video uses close-up shots of the Jeezzo gel pen refills to highlight the sleek design. We used specialised equipment and lighting to capture the intricate details of the pen tip as it glides across the screen, delivering a cool visual experience.

By focusing solely on the product, we were able to highlight the impressive quality and performance of Jeezzo gel pen refills in both a visually stunning and informative way. It was a simple means to bring the customer’s attention to the product and tell a visual story with special effects and cool transitions.

As a video production team, we had the pleasure of working with The Silk Initiative to create a series of recipe videos showcasing Silver Fern Farms’ premium meats. From succulent lamb chops to juicy beef burgers, we wanted to capture the essence of what makes Silver Fern Farms’ products stand out.

To achieve this, we carefully crafted each video to highlight the unique qualities of the meat. We used close-up shots to showcase the marbling and texture of the meat, while also incorporating wider shots to illustrate the cooking process and end result.

We also wanted to ensure the videos were easy to follow and replicable for viewers at home. So, we took care to break down each step of the recipe in a clear and concise manner, while also keeping the overall video length short enough not to lose our audience.

Volvo Bauma Documentary Video Series

Documentary interview series for the Bauma Exhibition in Shanghai

I have been working with Volvo Construction Equipment for over a decade on a variety of projects all across Asia, but it was a special moment when they asked to help them create a documentary series of 4 customer stories for their Bauma showcase.

There’s something truly special about having real people tell their experiences in front of your lens. It’s authentic, relatable, and gives viewers a glimpse into what they can expect when they choose Volvo for their construction equipment needs.

We interviewed a variety of Volvo customers, from small business owners to large-scale contractors, and their stories were truly inspiring. For example, the Chengdu client donated his time and Volvo machinery to help the efforts to recover survivors of the Sichuan earthquake.

OSRAM Lighting – Customer Story

I filmed this customer story for OSRAM lighting, telling the story of their products installed in the Hangzhou Hospital

I was thrilled to take on this project and bring the amazing work of OSRAM Lighting to life on camera. The team packed up the equipment and we headed to Hangzhou Hospital.

We spent two days filming, capturing the hospital in all its glory. We filmed the hospital staff in action, as they went about their daily routines, and we interviewed the Director of the hospital who had firsthand experience with the new lighting system.

Of course, filming in a hospital can be challenging, with patients coming and going and staff needing to attend to their duties. So it was important to me and my team to keep a respectful mindset and be as flexible as possible throughout the entire production.

Overall, the filming of the OSRAM Lighting customer story at Hangzhou Hospital was an unforgettable experience. I am honoured to be a part of telling this inspiring story and was blown away by the impact that the new lighting system had on the hospital and its patients.

Corporate and industrial video to tell the story of the cooperation between Georg Fischer and Volvo automotive in Shanghai.

With the opportunity to work with Georg Fischer casting solutions on a video about their partnership with Volvo to produce high-quality car parts, I was excited to showcase the intricate process behind the production of these essential components.

The video takes viewers on a behind-the-scenes journey of the casting process, from the design stage to the final product. We see how Georg Fischer’s state-of-the-art technology and skilled team work together to manufacture parts to meet Volvo’s exacting standards for safety and performance.

Our goal with this video was to highlight Georg Fischer’s impressive capabilities and to showcase their partnership with Volvo.

As the crew arrived at the studio, they were greeted by a team from NYU who had arranged for several students to be interviewed for the video. The crew quickly set up the lighting and cameras, making sure everything was in place for the first interviewee.

The students were excited to participate in the video, but also quite nervous. A big part of our role was to reassure them as they fought through some anxious moments in front of the cameras and crew.

We settled on filming the interviews on a black background to focus the attention on our subjects and to humanise them to the viewers.

Throughout the day, we worked efficiently with the client and our interviewees, moving from one interview to the next with a minimum of fuss. We were careful to ensure each interviewee felt comfortable and relaxed, and took breaks when needed so everyone stayed energised, focused and calm in front of the lens.
